FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is CFTools, and what does store separation analysis mean?

CFTools is engineering software focused on verifying, from a flight safety standpoint, the moment a store or external tank (external load) separates from an aircraft. This process is known internationally as "store separation analysis": numerically verifying, before flight, whether a load released from under a wing or pylon follows a safe trajectory without colliding with the carrier platform.

How does the 6-DOF simulation work?

CFTools solves a 6-degree-of-freedom (6-DOF) dynamic simulation from your aerodynamic database: it computes the separating body's position and attitude over time and lets you compare the results side by side with wind tunnel or flight test reference data.

What is the Monte Carlo risk analysis for?

It models sources of uncertainty in aerodynamic coefficients, mass/inertia properties, or initial conditions to generate a large number of runs; it derives the resulting risk distribution and automatically flags critical runs close to the safe clearance boundary.

Which industry's engineering teams use CFTools?

Trusted by engineering teams in Turkey's aerospace and defense industry.

Is there a free trial, and how do I get one?

Yes. From the registration page you can create a free trial account, valid for 5 days and licensed for 1 device; after email verification you can download the installer.

Is my engineering data (aerodynamic database, geometry, results) sent to the CFTools server?

No. The engineering data you work with stays entirely on your own computer; only the minimum information required for license verification is sent to the server. See our Privacy Policy page for details.

How does licensing work — can I use it on more than one computer at the same time?

CFTools is licensed per seat: each license key is locked to the computer it is first used on and only works on that device at a time. Contact us if you need an additional seat.

Can I keep working if my internet connection drops?

Yes. The application can keep working offline for up to 72 hours since the last successful server verification; after that it needs to connect to the internet to re-verify.

Can I request a live demo or a sample database?

Yes. You can request a live demo via the "Request a Quote / Demo" form on the homepage, and download the sample demo database once registered.

What operating system does CFTools run on?

CFTools is currently a Windows-only desktop application.

How can I reach you for a quote, sales, or technical support?

You can email us at studio.aeroo@gmail.com or fill out the "Request a Quote / Demo" form on the homepage.
