The CFTools desktop application shares only the minimum data required for it to function with this server: at login, your username and license key are verified; afterward, for as long as your session stays open, a "heartbeat" request every 5 minutes confirms your license is still valid and reports the requesting device's hardware ID (HWID), the app version, and the operating system. This information is used solely for license/seat verification.
CFTools never sends the engineering data you work with (aerodynamic database, STL geometries, Excel/CSV data sets, generated result or report files) to this server; that data stays entirely on your own computer. No usage analytics/tracking or third-party advertising scripts run on the server.
The raw form of your license key is never stored in the database; only a one-way (SHA-256) hash of it is kept. If you fill out the "Request a Quote / Demo" form on this site, the name, organization, email, and message you submit are stored only to contact you back and are not shared with third parties.
